Spend the morning with visiting Artist-in-Residence Julian Twigg and learn to build one of his iconic ceramic tug boat forms by hand.

In this special workshop, Julian will guide participants through his playful and recognisable approach to handbuilding, sharing techniques, tips, and insights into his ceramic practice along the way. Whether you’re looking to try something new, develop your making skills, or simply enjoy a creative morning in the studio, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to make alongside a visiting artist.

Suitable for beginners through to experienced makers of all ages. Participants will leave with their own ceramic tug boat ready for firing.

NOTE ON PAINTING AND FIRING 

After the workshop we encourage you to take your air dry clay and paint them at home.

If you would like to get them fired and come back and glaze them it is a cost of $25.
