Objects in Practice
As part of the BD residency, each artist was invited to step beyond their individual practice and collaborate on a shared ceramic piece, working alongside our skilled studio technicians. Serving as technical partners and creative facilitators, our technicians provided key material expertise, firing guidance, and specialised crafting skills to help bring these ambitious concepts to life.
This collection presents the extraordinary results of those exchanges, a dynamic series of object collaborations where distinct artistic voices, technical mastery, and shared experimentation intersect.
Proceeds from sales are split with the artist and also go back to the Burnt Dirt program for 2027.
